I think I want to try making a manga again. *think*. I don't know. I think my art, and certainly perprective, have improved since my last attempt. Problem is, I don't have a story, but that will come in time, I'm sure.

What do you think? Should Sachi waste her time and go for it, or wait awhile and work on her technique before diving into a big art project? I don't want to waste hours and hours on crap, and I don't want to waste hours and hours on something I won't continue. I really haven't had much time lately with school and just life, so something like this is quite time-consuming.

Or perhaps I should try a short story thing that's only a few pages long? Hmm, possibilities.

Well, you could just start with a few characters and a setting and see where it leads you. Or you could do a short story, as you suggested. Or you could work with someone else, so both of you would be motivating the other to continue and finish up their section so you can go on. :3 It works pretty well sometimes. Dun think that's what you had in mind, but there's my suggestion none-the-less.

But I tend to find that, even if you don't finish a comic, the impact it can have on the quality of your work can be astounding. *nodnod* So I say: Go for it!

Bleb, go with the short story or comic strips. Lol, my mom says that art is never a waste of time,but then I get my creativeness from her side.

And I probably will, in the end. I'm just trying to get some ideas for a short story/maybe prologue-type thing.

Yeah, I know what you mean. (I guess I was in a weird mood when I wrote it, because looking at it now, it seems odd xD) But thank-you. I'm thinking about trying a sort of prologue/short story thing. If it goes well, maybe I'll take it to the next level

Thanks for the advice, Stripe =3 Actually, the idea of trying it with someone is good; I never really thought about that. I'll probably ask one of my friends if she wants to try, or help with getting ideas down... ^^

I tried to make a comic with Sutafuzz, but we kind of gave up on that after a while. XD

If you need help with a basic plot idea, I could probably help. I've got a bunch of ideas I never actually bother to flesh out. I could always lend one to you if you like.
